For agencies · White-label

The technical director you can trust in front of your clients.

Overflow help is easy to find. A senior technical lead you can put in a client meeting, hand a launch to, or leave alone with your dev partner is not. I spent 22 years inside agencies, full time and embedded, doing exactly that. Now I do it for agencies as a partner: your brand, your client, my delivery.

Case in point

The engagement that explains it

A mid-size agency serving enterprise clients had a problem with its primary development partner: nobody trusted anybody, and nobody could say why. The real issue was language. The agency side and the dev side had no shared way of talking about the work. I became the translation layer, explained each side to the other, and rebuilt the relationship into one I then managed for years.

The same agency later handed me the technical lead on a US enterprise client’s corporate site launch, gave me direct access to client systems for troubleshooting, and let me work with their clients unsupervised. That last part is the credential I value most, because agencies don’t give that away. It gets earned. There are also 10+ sites out there I’ve built under other brands; you won’t find my name on them, which is rather the point.

These days delivery is faster. I run an AI-assisted build pipeline in production, and I check its output by hand before anything ships. Plenty of people are selling AI strategy decks right now; this pipeline runs real sites, and I can show you its output live.

What I take on

Five things agencies hand me.

  • Whole builds and site rescuesNew builds, stalled projects, inherited messes. Scoped, led, shipped, and verified before launch.
  • Delivery leadershipThe senior technical voice across your project: architecture, risk, vendor and dev-partner management.
  • Pre-sales strategyScoping, costing models, timelines, vendor evaluation, and the technical sections that win proposals.
  • Client roomsRapport, translation, and calm. The technical partner who makes your agency look bigger, not the vendor you have to manage.
  • Post-delivery operationsMaintenance, troubleshooting, and the ongoing care that keeps launched work launched.

The engagement

How an engagement runs

Simple on purpose. Reserved capacity means you get committed senior hours every week, not a freelancer juggling you against five other clients.

  1. Fit call

Fifteen minutes on what’s hurting: a project, a partner, a pipeline. If I’m not the fix, I’ll say so and point you at what is.

  2. Starter project

A whole build or a rescue, scoped and priced upfront. Small in commitment, senior in delivery. This is how trust gets built.

  3. Reserved capacity

When it works, a weekly block of committed hours on a flat monthly retainer. Month-to-month, USD invoicing, net-15.

  4. Embedded delivery

Your brand in front of the client, my lead behind it. Invisible where you need me invisible, present where you need a technical voice.

Two things I do not do, so we are clear early: ticket-queue work, and project management on work I am not leading. I lead what I deliver.

One partner slot open

If delivery hurts, it is usually a language problem first.

Tell me what is on fire, or what keeps almost catching. The fit call costs fifteen minutes and no follow-up obligation.
